  • What does a Project Manager do?

A Project Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that, whatever your project—whether technological, process-related, or cultural—is implemented smoothly and effectively. When you hire a professional Project Manager for your website or software integration, you build buy-in at all levels of the organization. Our primary responsibility is to guide the organization through the project and ensure its successful adoption and sustainability.

  • Do you have a discount for nonprofits?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount to our any organization with a 501(c)3 designation. Lisa and her team have over 20+ years of experience in working with not-for-profit and public-service agencies. • How do we get started?

The first step is a free 30-minute consultation to ensure it’s a good fit. If we find a fit, we follow up with an in-depth discovery call to learn more about your team and/or the project specifics.

The next step is to begin Project Discovery. Nothing is cookie-cutter in the way we service our customers. Your situation is unique, and our solution should be as well.

We will always keep you well informed on each step along the way. A successful project will have very few surprises for you and your team.

  • This sounds expensive. Can we afford this?

We have specialized in implementing new technologies to nonprofits for over 20 years. Automation doesn’t have to be scary or expensive. We understand that you have limited resources and a budget dependent on donations.

Although we can’t offer our services for free, we can offer some flexibility in project pricing or annual contracts.

  • What happens in a typical project?

Changing Lanes has developed a very specific process over the years. First, we hold a discovery call to ensure everyone understands the project's primary goals. Our next step is to communicate critical information with stakeholders - board members, volunteers, staff, and critical donors. After building agreement, we establish a clear project timeline, a list of deliverables, and begin bi-weekly project updates.

Prior to completion, we will work closely with stakeholders to ensure our key project goals are accomplished or develop a clear plan to achieve them.
